I found our 2 technicians were excellent! They were very courteous, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I would recommend them highly and give them 5 stars!

11 months ago Handy Bros replaced my fan motor in my air conditioner (very expensive repair $2K). The fan broke down 2 weeks ago. Prior to coming out to repair in both cases they would not book an appointment until you paid $150 (no refund after the repair). The second breakdown they told me the part was not under warranty because I did not purchase the surge protector during the first repair. They claim I declined. I'm sure they offered it originally but I don't believe they said anything about not purchasing it voids the warranty on the fan. So to have it fixed, another $700 later. Repair people are good, business practices very poor. If the part is prone to breaking down in less than a year, shouldn't it be included when the fan is replaced?? Stay clear of this business, you will pay a lot of money for a repair that may or may not be covered under warranty! There are other companies that provide great service for a lot less money. Look around!

As a tradesman, I've never seen a company with such exceptional customer service. Everyone I spoke with was so nice and communicated everything I needed to know. They even sent me a text beforehand letting me know when the technician would be there. I will be using Handy Bros as an example for training my future employees.

I called to get my furnace looked at after having no heat. They sent a technician out quickly and the tech was great! Definitely would recommend and will be calling them for maintenance this summer.

Having used multiple providers at different homes over the past decade, I can honestly say there's no comparison when it comes to the Handy Bros. Not only is it the speed of same-day installation, but it's also having a good conversation with a tech who cares. My tech in particular went above and beyond even what I expected. He was extremely thorough, made sure I had a complete understanding of what I was getting, how it would work, and what the next steps were. Can't thank the team at Handy Bros. enough! Highly recommended and will be using them for decades to come.

Had Handy bros out to do some work the technician came and brought me a coffee AND a donut! Have not had a person out that hasn't been knowledgeable and respectful! Hope to work with them for years to come!

CUSTOMER BE WARE I have contacted Handy Bros. Home Comfort for furnace repair. Technician came to the address and identified part (Inducer Assembly) needed to be replaced. (I was charged $168.37 for technician to come out) I received a Band-aid solution for additional $1,353.74 (this is no joke, they call it Band-Aid). Handy Bros. estimate does not include break down between materials and labor. I called office and was told for my benefit they bundle parts and labor in to one price. I asked how much I'm being charged for part and was told $1,080. That didn't seem right. Called next company that came up on my phone and was told that part is $340. And additional installation fee of $99. When I brought part overcharging to the office, their office manager Don defended this practice and their pricing.

We had multiple issues with our fireplace. Techs Kyle and Josh were relentless in finding and correcting the issues. Parts were found quickly and follow up appts were scheduled quickly. We are very happy with the service and effort by everyone at HBros.

Chris was the gentleman who came to the house with the information I requested about a furnace, heatpump and water tank. He was polite, courteous and kind. There was no pressure, and he didn't get offended when I asked questions. I hired them last Wednesday and Handy Bros called Thursday, appt for Monday morning. My team consisted of Brett, JR, Josh, and then later on Adam. These young men are truly the best! Best attitude, best workmanship, best quality and they clearly work for the best company. They installed everything with attention to detail and treated the job as if they were installing in their own homes. They cleaned up and explained all my new equipment to me.

Zak and John came to do the installation on our new furnace and air conditioner unit. They were both very polite and professional. They did a great job on the installations and cleaned everything up before leaving. We would highly recommend this company and Jake is a great sales rep also. He explained everything to us in detail and was very honest.

From start to finish the service was amazing! They were on time and very professional.

Handy bros is hands down the best to deal with. Jake came to gave us a quote and was so professional and easy to talk to. We got our quote on Friday and had it installed Monday morning. Taylor and Kody the installers were great! Very personable, professional and took their time explaining the new system to us! Definitely recommend.

We have had 3 visits by technicians in the last year, with Adam's visit today being the 3rd. Each technician has been very polite, called ahead to ensure we were available, and knowledgeable about their work. 2 visits were the promotional services and the middle visit was for a blower motor issue with our furnace. We are very happy with their service, prompt response and ability to address our issues when needed. Would definitely recommend them.

Taylor at Handy Brothers installed a humidifier on our furnace. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and efficient. Handy Brothers integrated system allows their employees to be very effective with a great customer focus. Handy Brothers is now and in the future our go to contractor for anything we require in climate care. Best of the Best

Prepaid annual service. Technician Jacob was very thorough in his review; He identified a small water leak in a connection - preventing future damage. Very friendly. Communication - photo documentation thorough.

Taylor, Kody and Randy implemented a plan to adapt the existing HVAC system to accommodate renovations in our office space. The work was done well, neatly, when and as proposed, all without disruption to our office routine.

Service tech was very polite, but unable to provide quote, another person will be in contact with you to provide quote. Seems to be a lot of hands involved. Have contacted other services they came and provide quote on the spot and the other in 2 hours.

We called to have our furnace looked at as we had no heat. When the technician came he said there was a major part that needed to be replaced but it was under warranty. It took several days to get the part in and once it was installed I was handed a bill for $2000. I was told that $500 of that bill was to return the old part to the manufacturer. Upon investigating I found out that the manufacturer covers the cost of returning defective parts under warranty and this repair should have been around $500 to $600. I requested an itemized bill from them and was told that they don't do that and was ignored when I made further inquiries. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Yeah Sheldon! You are as good as it gets! Thanks for coming to our rescue on one of the coldest days of the season! We woke up to no heat, made the call to Handy Brothers and within the next half hour at the least Sheldon arrived to face repairs to a twenty odd year old furnace. Within the next hour, he diagnosed and explained the problem, got the heat running, knowledgeably and efficiently answered all our questions, helped us (through a low-pressure conversation) choose the best replacement furnace for our home. In all the years we have called on Handy Brothers for their knowledge, expertise, maintenance and purchasing we have never been disappointed.

Had a new Tankless water heater installed and the installers Ben and Gary did an excellent job. Friendly, answered all questions and cleaned up after the installation. Thanks

I'm very happy with the service we received from Handy Bros. Everything they did was top notch! A very friendly, professional organization. I highly recommend them for any of your heating or air conditioning needs! They are located in Chatham Ontario, and invited us for a tour of the premises. It's amazing to see how everything actually comes together. It's a step by step process that guarantees that everything works perfectly! Very impressed with this company, and the team they sent to our home. They actually lay out a red carpet for you, and leave everything spotless!

Yesterday I called in the morning. By dinner my AC unit was fixed! They send you a little bio of the technician that is coming including a photo. Which is super cool and puts you at ease. Andrew R was my tech. He pre called. Asked if he could bring me anything cool to drink since he knew my house was hot. So generous. He was extremely polite and beyond professional. Explained everything and offered many options but didn't pressure me. If I could rave more and give a 6 star review I would.

Courteous, respectful of our home, left the work area immaculate. Thorough walk-through of equipment following install.

Kyle was amazing. He arrived shortly after 7 am. He estimated that he'd be finished installing the new furnace and heat pump around 2. He was, but then ran into a glitch because it's a brand new system. He troubleshooted the issue and had to go back to HandyBros to pick up a part. By this time it was 6 pm. He came back and had everything up to snuff and left just before 8. That's a very long day, but there was no complaining. He knows his stuff! I'd have him back any time.

The team of technicians were efficient, courteous and explained things. The salesman went over all my options and applied discounts and rebates. Great experience! Would recommend!

Only consider them if you have deep pockets. Got quoted on tankless water heater. $5,200 only if we bought today. Gave a $200 rebate if purchased in 24 hrs from sales person coming to house. Their salesperson used most of the pressure techniques to get us to sign. But here's the deal - the exact same hot water tank sells for $2,200 retail. Most contractors receive 10-20% off retail. So basically you are buying a system at retail and paying $3,000 for install. That is a significant amount of money. I will be definitely looking elsewhere.

Excellent, professional service! Jaden came out to repair my furnace and did an outstanding job. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and quickly identified and fixed the issue. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain everything clearly and offered helpful maintenance tips to keep the furnace running efficiently for years to come. There was absolutely no pressure or sales pitch, just honest service.
