Sergio did an excellent and thorough job of the annual maintenance cleaning and inspecting of the heating/air conditioning systems at our newer home. He cleaned inside all the filters etc. as well as the outside main unit.
He was very personable and explained the entire process. Highly recommend Sergio’s assistance with any future hvac requirements. He is an asset to your Handi Bros team.

Our Technician was Chris Silva. He did a great job on the service call. A couple days earlier we had a whole new HVAC system installed. Done in one day replacing furnace, water heater and a/c (with heat pump). A small leak developed over night in and aggregate hose over furnace. Chris knew what todo and quickly repaired the leak. The response was effective and immediate.

Kelly S. was a very professional and very informative. He listened to any concerns. He didn't pressure me into anything I didnt want. Unlike the last tech I had come in..he tried to tell me that I had to get a whole new furnace even though it is the top of the line. Kelly S is a fantastic employee and I would take him for any of my hvac issues or concerns. Keep up the great work Kelly!!
I recently purchased the Handy Bros. service mtce. agreement for my tankless water heater, air conditioner and furnace. Today, service technician Kevin M checked out my furnace accompanied with pictures, diagnostic furnace details and discussed areas which will be followed up in future annual reports. Kevin was very polite, friendly and professional answering all my questions. Thank you Kevin.
We had Jordan coca with our maintenance check up on the AC unit. He was absolutely phenomenal! He was friendly, talkative and loved to joke, through, and answered any questions we had. He informed us about other equipment in the house that needed maintenance as well, yet still did his job impeccably, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were in control of our house. We will continue to use handy bros, and hope Jordan returns!
Got an appointment same day. Service was thorough and professional. Sergio was friendly and explained everything in detail. We have a maintenance membership which we like for the twice a year inspection and perks such as discounts on repairs. Couldn't ask for more.
We've been using the services of Handy Bros for a couple years and have never been disappointed. It was no different with the regular maintenance appointment we had today with Kelly S. He was outgoing and professional. HB sent a text with a photo of Kelly and a link to provide live GPS of his location so we knew exactly when he was going to arrive. He called when he was 10 minutes away to confirm the timing was still good. Kelly's provided a couple options in relation to our water heater tank but was definitely not pushy!

We had Tanner from Handy Bros. out to inspect and perform maintenance on our furnace, hot water tank, and central air conditioner, and he did a fantastic job. He was punctual, thorough, and clearly knowledgeable about what he was doing. Throughout the visit, Tanner was exceptionally professional, well-spoken, and friendly, taking the time to explain what he checked and ensuring everything was running smoothly. It is rare to find service that is both this efficient and personable. Highly recommend Tanner and the Handy Bros. team!
Yesterday we had Nicholas from HandyBros come to inspect our furnace. Nicholas is a very friendly and knowledgable technician. We fully recommend his expertise.

Josh D provided service on our one year old tankless water heater. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and shared details and photos of the work completed with us. Josh also offered some advice on our water softener, allowing us to feel confident that we will see good results moving forward. It was a pleasure to have Josh at our home and should be commended for a job well done.

Austin S. delivered an excellent maintenance experience and emphasized safety regarding our hot water tank. We had Shale out to look at the furnace. He did a great job finding the issue and setting an appointment for a new furnace, which we figured would happen. He told us the dangers and was very informative. Great guy.

Ian was our maintenance technician and was very friendly and professional. We especially appreciated his reminder call the night before and again the morning of, when he asked if we would like a coffee or tea.

We had our annual check up today. Our technician was Spencer and he was friendly and professional. He checked our air conditioner and our hot water on demand water heater. He found one issue with our water heater and fixed it before he left. Thank you Spencer for your patience with all my questions.

This is the second time since the spring of 2025 that we’ve had Nicholas come to service our heat pump. He is very congenial, knowledgable & tidy. We’re glad he works for Handy Brothers. Dennis
We had our 1st sheduled maintenance visit from the HBs technician, named Andrew. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient with all our concerns. We were impressed by his genuine interest in and his suggestions were not in any way pushy. He upgraded a component in the AC outside, at no charge, and gave a thorough review of our current equipment.

Chris was fantastic. Called when on his way, was very polite and serviced both units. Ran some tests to make sure the issue with one unit had been resolved.

We had our tankless water heater inspected by Dennis Dyck! He was very professional, courteous and did an excellent job of explaining the workings of the tank. He also showed pictures of the items checked. I was very impressed with the service from this young man.

The A/C outdoor unit kept cycling on and off rapidly. I called an Chris S was dispatched. He worked tirelessly to diagnose and repair the problem. He kept me updated on what was happening and fixed the problem. Best of all, under warranty. I would highly recommend Chris and the entire Handy Bros. staff to anyone looking for HVAC equipment or device.

Sergio was very professional and informative. He took the time to make sure that we understood our options and the steps that were taken for our yearly inspection and cleaning. He was polite and showed comentency at his job. He was clean and courteous. It was great that the company allowed him to give us an upgrade also. I would recommend Sergio as a worker to other that work with Handybros.

Brandon was excellent. Very polite. On time. Called me 20 minutes before arriving. Offered to pick me up a coffee on the way over. When there he was thorough and considerate. Gave me a detailed report at the end of the service and it was completely amazing. Recommended highly!!!

Last year I had Handy Bros install a new AC. I just got it checked a year later using their plan and the whole experience was seamless. Kelly S went above and beyond by servicing not just the AC, but providing preventative recommendations for other HVAC issues he spotted. Handy Bros as a whole has been a great company to work with and I will continue upgrading my HVAC system with them.
Brandon was very professional and good at what he had to do. You have an excellent employee here and I request him to be our technician in the future. Great job Brandon

This is the preferred business for sure, they offer a variety of days and times to book for regular maintenance which is very convenient for a large family with busy schedules. Our service tech Tanner was soo kind and knowledgeable!!!

He not only fixed the issue quickly but also took the time to explain things to me step by step as he went including some helpful products I can use to maintain both my AC and furnace. I had scheduled maintenance done yesterday, and as always the service was exceptional. Kevin, the tech who came for the job was top notch. He even offered to bring me a coffee when he called to let me know he would arrive shortly! Very friendly and professional he did the jobs quickly and efficiently, but also he resolved an issue that was not part of what he came for. Poked around at it, got in touch with Handy Bros, and kept looking and adjusting things till it was right. It was not part of the schedule and he could have told me to make another appointment, but he did the job and did it right. I have been using Handy Bros since I bought my old house in 2019,They have been doing all the gas related work. Originally my main gas line from the meter, then the water heater to a tankless, and replaced the old furnace and a/c with a new furnace and heat pump. I wouldn't want anybody but them. Every tech that has done work for me has been very professional and friendly. You have a customer for life! Keep up the great work!

Ian notified me before coming. Even offered me a coffee. He is very professional and explained everything to me crystal clear. He showed me at the end of the work what is the state of the equipment and improvement. He's a great employee, I will recommend him to my friends and family.
We worked with Josh D. to have some regular maintenance done on our heating and cooling systems, specifically the air conditioner before winter shut down. He was amazing to work with and answered al of our questions. He was thorough and competent while also very polite and did not try to oversell what we do not need which is refreshing. We have signed up for the 1 year maintenance package with Handy Bros and are looking forward to having Josh return to do an inspection on our other equipment in the next 2-4 weeks. The peace of mind the maintenance service provides is well worth the small annual fee. Thank you

Brandon came to do our annual check up and was so pleasant to have in our home. While here, he realized our hot water tank was ready to be replaced and suggested we could arrange to have someone come to talk to us about replacing it. The next day we met with comfort advisor, Martin, who capably steered us through all the options available. We appreciated his knowledge and honesty and are now awaiting delivery of our new hot water tank.
Had Austin S come out to maintenance my tankless, furnace, and heat pump. He was incredibly kind and efficient, and explained everything he had done thoroughly. Would definitely recommend Austin and HB to family and friends!!

I had Esteban today for my duct cleaning. I was satisfied with Esteban's work. He was very helpful and informative and explained things clearly. He was very pleasant and provided exceptional customer service. It was nice to have a real conversation face to face with him.
We had a complete HVAC system including a tankless waterheater installed at the beginning of the year. The system has performed flawless and we had today our first maintenance visit. This initial visit was free, but it was a thorough check up including a rinse to get rid of Calcium build up in the water heater. The technician Karim was more than willing to address my wife's questions and concerns. We are very happy with our choice of HandyBros, in regards to the equipment we got and any contact with any employee. 5 out of 5 stars for Karim and company.

Jacob arrived exactly on time, as promised. This young man was polite, friendly and told me exactly what he was going to do. He explained everything he did, and why, giving me a clear picture of what my system was doing and how everything was working perfectly. Although the system is only 2 years old, the maintenance he performed was necessary, removing all evidence of dust, dirt and detritus from the system. He tested everything and reported everything back to me.
I suppose that the little bit of extra time he took over the planned 2 hours was mostly my fault, in that I asked many questions, but he was an exceptional young man, in my opinion. I wish other service people were this way! By far, one of the best service visits I have ever had, and I appreciate that the company sent him. I will ask for Jacob for every visit in the future, when the semi-annual services are required!

Had a delightful maintainence appointment with Jordan Coca last week on Friday. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and enjoys his work. He's done several jobs within Handy Brothers and enjoys Service as he gets out and talking with the clients about their concerns and what working and what's not working out for them.
Unfortunately I couldn't make my internet reception work better for him, and this held him up over his time allotted. Not his fault! Blenheim is apparently notorious for this. We just relocated here last year so we're just learning. Overall, a very positive and great afternoon. I look forward to more business with Handy Brothers as need be*

What a great experience it is when you have such a wonderful service technician like the one we had today! The CA unit wasn’t working properly and Dennis our technician was quick to diagnose the problem right away. He even managed to teach us a thing it two about maintenance of the central air unit beyond common sense, which was very helpful for the life of our unit 👍🏽🙏🏽😁 Dennis was so very polite and helpful, honestly the best service technician we’ve ever had to call…would recommend Dennis and Handy’s to everybody for your heating and cooling needs!

We had a Furnace/Heat Pump & Tankless water heater installed. Super impressed with the time they took with us and letting us know what system best suited our needs and our house design. The install was prompt, super clean and they went above and beyond. We are extremely happy with the service they provided and the products they stand with. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of upgrading.
We’ve had several dealings with Handy Bros for our water heater and AC needs. Everyone we dealt with was competent and provided great customer service: starting with people answering phones, sales, and of course technicians. Everyone was courteous and efficient and went above and beyond in emergencies. Great experience all around. Highly recommended.
We had Handy Bros in to check out AC unit as it was starting to act up. Technician Mike T was great, he explained everything very thoroughly, answered all our questions and connected us with a Comfort Advisor the same day. Martin came on very short notice and provided some great insight into our options. We ended up going with a heat pump, furnace and tankless water heater. Installation was quick and the techs were very knowledgeable. Everything went very smooth, no issues at all. We would highly recommend Handy Bros!

I lost my ac air and called Handy Bros to get service, Melissa I believe was her name said and explained their busy as it is that time of yr but she said hang ket me see what I can do made a decision and had a young man come out to tell me the news of a new ac is needed.
The young man was informative, kind got along with my dogs and just pleasant as he was funny as well.
In the end a salesman came out and sold us a new system, not just one but three different things air, water and heat, the decision was hard considering all out stuff was put in between 2007 and 2012.
We decided and agreed with Chris that these items were needed and to be replaced.
Now Chris , had looked at schedule and booked in 3 techs to completely Install and remove the old systems.
I had the honor of meeting the 3 guy ,pleasant, happy guys, polite and did their job according and with pride.
They arrived at 715am and never left til job was completed, I was truly impressed with theyndidntheir jobs, handle themselves and let me know what they were doing.
There was no mess inside or outside our home vert well done that my neighbor even complimented them.
Thank you all involved for helping us and getting us air in a short amount of time.
As for the office staff of handy Bros, thank you so much for getting us in ASAP greatly appreciated.
Overall, a great company with lovely people working for them.

We had our ducts cleaned, and a new furnace and air conditioner installed. Both installers were friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. Great service and communication from office staff with scheduling services and following up from start to finish. Highly recommend Handy Bros.
Just had a new A/C unit put in by Hamdy Bros. My consultation with Martin was very thorough. I felt I was well informed on all products and there were no pressure sales at all. I felt comfortable taking time to make my decision. The installation team, lead by Spencer, were extremely professional, made sure I knew every step they were taking, and explained all of the equipment. Just had the semi-annual maintenance done on our HVAC and tankless hot water heater. This remains, hands down, the best company we have ever worked with. Good morning. Yesterday Andrew from Handy Bros serviced my air conditioning. He was very professional and kind. He explained exactly what he was doing. I am very lucky the package I got when I replaced my air conditioning included free inspections to keep my warranty viable. He also gave me details on adding inspection of my furnace and hot water heater. They are very low cost. I am really glad I chose Handy Bros.

In March, I talked to customer service on the phone about an issue. I was told they would look into it and call me back. Well it’s been a month now and not a single peep from them. I get they are a busy company but if you can’t follow through, then maybe you should get better customer service instead of putting money into adding on to your building

I originally called when my furnace stopped. The young man that came was very pleasant and my furnace had come on . My furnace was 15 years old. He did a maintenance check and explained the maintenance program to me. I signed up for it. This year when the young man came, after checking the furnace and air quality, he said all looked good and the readings were all good however, there was a small area of rust, which could mean a leak. He put a class B safety regulation on our furnace and said I had 42 days to fix or replace the furnace. They could replace a part but the part was 4800 and he would not recommend it as the furnace is 17 yrs old a that is almost the price of a new furnace.....and oh by the way we have a very good sale on. Can I send someone to show you some options. After asking me 3 times if he could send someone, I agreed.
When my husband returned he said no way. We will get another opinion.

Ryan did a great job inspecting our furnace to make sure it was operating at peak efficiency. He cleaned all the control board areas and changed the filter. He also checked for Co2 and for gas leaks. After he was finished he showed what he had done and showed us pictures of his work. He also asked us if we had any questions about the furnace. Thank you Ryan for making sure our furnace works properly.
I recently purchased a house and had Handy Bros out to service the existing furnace. Dennis showed up on time, asked me questions about the existing equipment and our house, listened extremely well, helped with our thermostat, serviced everything and was very professional throughout the whole appointment. I really enjoyed the photos he took of the work / tests he did and the easy to follow walkthrough of every aspect of the service itself after all was said and done. I happily joined their Handy Bros Family Plan to ensure all of our equipment is always operating at peak performance. These guys are pros! Give them a call.

When I first used Handy Bros in 2022 I gave them a glowing 5 star review. Since then I have signed up for their family service package to have my equipment checked yearly. In November 2025 had a young man named Josh O'Hara inspect and clean my furnace and hot water on demand. As usual, a very friendly and thorough person. Today, February 9/2026 , Bryce Flook came to clean my duct work. Using specialized equipment he undid 50 years of dust bunnies plus and finished with a mist of anti-microbial spray. I took advantage of the 30% discount special and was not disappointed. As per usual, Bryce was typically thorough and very personable. Every visit from the techs at Handy Bros feels like family. Just had my furnace maintenance done and the gentleman Shale Salisbury was very polite and courteous. Got right to his work , cleaned up after and now all I have to do is sit back and enjoy knowing the furnace is in good working order.
The technician, Kumail Al-Khuzaiee, came out and did a maintenance call for the furnace and heat pump. He replaced a part that was under warranty and fixed the ductwork attached to the furnace. He explained what was done and replaced the air filter. It was a very pleasant appointment and am glad I have the maintenance program.

I called HB for a second opinion and learned so much more about what is going on with my furnace. It’s not necessarily good news. My tech and his trainee were both great to work with and exceptionally knowledgable and more than willing to try all they could think of to get things moving - they were here for three hours!!!! How many other companies would do that? Or just tell you keep flipping the breaker?? I was so happy with them I felt confident that I need go no further for my future needs.

That day a red seal tech came and enlightened me even further than the first guys did and all I could do was wait for the temp to go down as the gas was not yet hooked up - equipment is in but no gas.
From the saleswoman (Jess - great lady), to the techs and the installers, everyone was amazing to work with and all had answers to my questions and if they didn't a phone call was made to search one out.

Brady had enough forethought to suggest a better location for our heat pump that wouldn't interfere with usage of our hot tub. They protected our flooring and worked in the cramped location where our furnace was situated. Handy Bros came today for fall furnace maintenance. Dennis explained everything he was going to do and then started. He was pleasant, easy to understand and courteous. He went about his work with expertise. He explained his findings after finishing and what we should be aware of as our furnace is aging. Great job and customer service.

Handy Bros installed my HVAC system today and I can't say enough about how extremely pleased I am with this team and the job they did for me. From start to finish, it was perfect. Each representative and technician I dealt with were exceptional. They patiently explained everything to me making sure that I understood. Just truly good, friendly, respectful people. The day of the installation, I didn't quite understand how the unit would sit on the existing cement pad or on the plastic pad which they provide. So, Dave and Brandon placed the unit on the existing cement pad, then lifted it to put the plastic pad down and place the unit on it, just so that I can see and make my decision. OMG!!! And they were so patient doing all this. I felt so bad to put them through all that but, they assured me that it was okay because they wanted me to be to be sure with my decision.

Service and install were great. Almost 9k later, I have to pay more because the BRAND NEW FURNCE WONT TURN ON?!?! Gtfo. Don't waste your time or money, especially if you have kids and want reliability.

I was a bit reluctant to try Handy Bros because I was thinking a larger company which advertises a lot would be like a Big Box store: Volume sales=lower prices=lower wages=high employee turnover=poor quality. I was wrong! The whole process of ordering and installing my central AC unit was nothing less than great experience. The installers were very professional, very neat and explained everything they did. Communication was excellent with the company. I'd give them a 5 star rating.
Our problem was done very professionally and David answered all our questions. We only moved to London and are happy we chose Handy Bros to do our repair.
I got a quote from them for $28000. Ended up going with another small contractor for $12000 for the same equipment. The day best prices guaranteed but not really.

I understand that at times one has to wait in the answering que, but while on hold i had to listen to what was virtually an advertisement for Handy Bros. I must admit that after my not so good comment about the recording I had to listen to while waiting for customer service to answer, I was surprised to get a call back telling me that they heard me and removed the recording. Candace, a Technician from Handy Bros came to our home recently to carry out an annual inspection and service on our furnace. We asked her to do additional tasks cleaning the burners and the fan impeller. All the work was completed with thoroughness and we were provided with before and after photographs. I believe this additional work will extend the life of the furnace.

September 2024 comes and I had made the decision to replace the furnace unit (after taking the time to make an informed decision myself and also renovating of the house). It was installed and worked great.
Fast forward to August 2025, there was a middle of the night emergency issue (that crazy heat wave) with the A/C unit which itself is only six years old. The emergency line was called and no one answered. At all. Another company was called and a tech was at the house at 8am sharp the next morning. I got a call back from Handy Bros three days later saying that they could send someone just to look at it when I had time. I declined and said a competitor fixed the issue right away. At this time I also decided to cut ties with Handy Bros and take my business elsewhere.
Skip ahead a month to September 2025. The new company comes to perform the annual maintenance on the furnace (which again keep in mind is only ONE YEAR old). New company walks in and says right away that the furnace has been installed incorrectly and is sloped the wrong way.

Would highly recommend these two gentlemen for any installs needed . Great knowledge and I would use Handy Bros again in the future

Sales and installation were great, but a month in and our new water heater quit working. Called last night and and was told a technician would call us “first thing” in the morning. Tried calling back at 9:00 after no call and told they’d get right back to me. Still waiting at 10:00…I can accept being told that they are busy and won’t be able to get to me, but being forced to take time off work to wait for any communication at all is poor business practice!

So long story short, there was a corporate wide meeting that morning with all employees. Frustrating, but also understandable. They did get back to me shortly after noon and the technician went over and above to get us back up and running. They have reached out to me since then and seem genuinely interested in making things right. I expressed my disappointment in the lack of communication from the start and that a 5 star rating is something to be earned over time. Overall I’m very impressed with all the face to face interactions with the “boots on the ground”, but hoping this will be seen as a learning opportunity a the corporate level.

The situation was centred around a condensate pump where a HB technician missed reconnecting a tube causing a mess of water in my basement. The condensate pump subsequently burnt out. Of concern to me was how the condensate pump was in working order prior to the maintenance visit and this functionality was also documented in the HB technician’s report.
While it’s hard to pinpoint the exact issue which caused the pump to burn out, because the burn out happened immediately after the routine maintenance visit, Handy Bros. replaced the pump at no cost to me.
I understand that mistakes happen. Sometimes things will be missed. What is most important to me is accountability and taking ownership of the situation. I can confirm that Handy Bros. made me whole following this unfortunate event. I do encourage Handy Bros. management to reiterate the importance of tidying up to their employees, but in the end, I am a satisfied customer.

The next day they came to install equipment and they kept me in the loop with what was going on . Made sure to ask me any questions on where I wanted things. Dan and his crew are absolutely amazing workers and amazing people. Their work ethic, professionalism personality surpassed my expectations. This team is by far the best team I’ve ever seen. They made sure I was updated on everything they were doing. Every time they finished the day, the house looked as though they had never been there. They absolutely cleaned everything. Excellent service . Prices were affordable. They set up a loan arrangement for me and the payments were lower than expected. I had the furnace, tankless water heater and air conditioner heat pump installed. Units are extremely quiet. They cleaned up their mess after installation explained how everything worked. Definitely would recommend.

Shameless and dishonest. My water heater broke down and I mistakenly called Handy Bros instead of Reliance. They charged me $1,500 to replace a part, but the heater still didn’t work. Then Handy Bros tried to charge me another $660 for a second part.
I later realized I was a Reliance customer, canceled the second order, and Reliance fixed the issue for free in just one hour—something Handy Bros technicians couldn’t fix in a whole week.
Handy Bros is a complete scam. Their service is overpriced, incompetent, and shows zero integrity. If you value your money and time, stay away from Handy Bros.

I also had an annual maintenance plan for my fireplace, which they just discontinued and are now pushing me to sign up for a more expensive plan. On top of that, I booked duct cleaning and paid half upfront with the agreement that the remainder would be due after the service was complete. I’m writing this the same day the service was done, and I’ve already had two phone calls from Handy Bros demanding payment—even though I haven’t yet received the promised photos or final report.
Overall, the experience feels greedy and focused on upselling rather than customer care. After years of loyalty, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I hope this helps others make an informed decision.

Prior to the installation, Anthony spent a few hours with us helping us to select the package that best suited our needs. He was pleasant, honest and knowledgeable. The installation crew were friendly, neat and tidy. They worked quickly and took my input and location preferences into account when installing the intake and exhaust. From the very first contact with Handy Bros I have been impressed! Customer service is gold standard. The latest experience was yesterday with Jaden for the PM on the furnace and heat pump. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I can’t recommend Handy Bros enough.
Ill edit to three stars because their customer service is great. But still not happy with the quality of the heat pump itself. They came and assessed everything and it was all working well. So that just leaves me to believe its the actual brand of Moovair that is bad quality

It makes the air too humid in summer and doesn’t heat enough in winter. It struggles below 0 degrees despite being rated for -25. It defrosts at 6 degrees and takes forever to heat back up again, the paddles creak constantly and the remote’s temperature gauge can be set to 25 but it stops at 20. I’ve had techs out twice: once to say it’s “fine” and tell me thats just how it operates ( which is disappointing because these things are $13,000+) and another to adjust settings and turn off the constant fan. This helped a little with the humidity and smell but again, it seems other people are completely satisfied with their heat pumps with no issues, which makes me think that I have faulty units. I've brought up that maybe the install was done incorrectly, but I'm being told that this is just how they operate. Ive also got new attic insulation and weather proofing that they suggested I do as well...still hasn't helped.

Three years ago, I was told my HVAC unit was on its last legs, so I agreed to a full replacement — furnace, AC, and ductwork — costing over $10,000. I was told rebates were ending soon and rushed into the purchase. The install was fast, but corners were clearly cut: venting wasn’t replaced as promised, and the patchwork was sloppy.
Then came a string of issues:
Furnace stopped working shortly after install due to a faulty part.
AC didn’t work the following summer — it hadn’t been wired properly.
Venting work I was told was included turned out not to be, and I was quoted another $4,000.
Promised patchwork fixes were delayed and frustrating.
Maintenance appointment was missed.
Customer service became cold and dismissive — no accountability, just sales pushes.
I finally canceled my membership after being told prices were increasing and feeling completely let down. Someone reached out to offer 3 free months and a summer AC tune-up. We booked for July 12. No one showed up.

I did the Greener Homes program to have new equipment installed for my house. The Handy Bros staff was extremely helpful in the whole process, and extremely friendly.

I got a Moovair heat pump installed last September. The technicians were great, customer service was decent at first but the product itself is awful. It makes the air too humid in summer and doesn’t heat enough in winter. It struggles below 0 degrees despite being rated for -25. It defrosts at 6 degrees and takes forever to heat back up again, the paddles creak constantly and the remote’s temperature gauge can be set to 25 but it stops at 20. I’ve had techs out twice: once to say it’s “fine” and tell me thats just how it operates ( which is disappointing because these things are $13,000+) and another to adjust settings and turn off the constant fan. This helped a little with the humidity and smell but again, it seems other people are completely satisfied with their heat pumps with no issues, which makes me think that I have faulty units. I've brought up that maybe the install was done incorrectly, but I'm being told that this is just how they operate. Ive also got new attic insulation and weather proofing that they suggested I do as well...still hasn't helped.

Posted a review 10 months ago pls read with a grain of salt, and I stated one of the installers walked away with one of my cordless drills with I discovered the other day I was very incorrect my former friend had taken it the night before the guys showed up he apparently went in to my house when I was in my steel shed working out and away from the house, my friend entered my house knowing I was in another area and the door was open to retrieve some food I had ordered for him saw the drill which he needed an extra drill and never told me, I only found out the other day when he brought it back to me because the battery ran empty...I was enraged that he took it and not tell me but now I have it back and the boys were extremely professional and worked especially hard since my furnace is in my attic, they are an excellent company and I have purchased a matainance contract and bought some power surge protectors. I am so sorry for blaming the install, guys, but I didn't know an idiot took my cordless drill without telling me. I hightly recommend handy bros.

I recently purchased a new furnace and heat pump /central A/C system from Handy Bros. The process was great from start to finish. The sales representative was friendly and knowledgeable and made the transaction fast and easy. She was even able to schedule a Saturday installation. The two men that did the work showed up promptly on Saturday and got right to work. They were quick to thank me for doing some of the preparation work before they arrived. It was a big job that took them fourteen hours and most of their time was spent in my attic were the furnace is located and it was very hot in that space. Overall we are happy with the equipment and installation. They took the time to explain what they did and to show me how to operate the new system.The only thing they could have done better is the clean up but it is understandable that at the end of a very long and very hot day they were ready to go home.I am not unhappy with the job. The two men worked all day and into the evening without even stopping for a lunch break. So I would definitely recommend Handy Bros. For your heating and cooling needs.

From the start of my experience with handy Boys, it was nothing but five stars. Aaron came to give us a quote and he was very thorough and explained everything and what size was necessary and what was going to be the best fit for our house. Then four days later we had Tony and his crew come in to do a full installation of heat pump, furnace, and hot water heater. They were very kind and considerate while they were here. And to top it all off, they were OK with the dogs, which can be a really big thing when you have someone in your house for eight hours. All in all, I would 100% recommend handy Boys!

I just had Cole B. out to service my issue with constant blown fuses on my Furnace. After a very thorough diagnostics, Cole managed to identify the short in the wiring from my AC to the Furnace. He also informed me of potential issues on the horizon as my AC/Furnace units are aging. Cole is a great asset to the company, very knowledgeable, patient and pleasant to deal with. The service was excellent. The technician Karim arrived on time & was professional, & courteous. He came back first thing in the morning the following day ( a holiday) to install the new thermostat which was a big plus. He went the extra mile to get our HVAC system up & running. Mike & Karim kept me well informed during the whole process. I highly recommend handy Bros.
Handy Bros has expanded, taken on a slick jingle, multi-city ad campaign, a larger building and a larger market. Good for them….maybe not good for you. Someone has to pay for all that. I preferred feeling like a part of the family, knowing that when I called, Ann would answer the phone and ask how I was with sincerity. I miss that tailored service and the fair pricing.

His furnace (High end RUUD) was under $5000 and it is 98% efficient. His Navien Tankless Water was under $3500 with copper (not plastic) piping.

$1300 quote for duct cleaning 1000 square feet and maybe 10 vents? Over $4000 repair estimate on a part that is between $200 and $400? $9000 for a York furnace WHAT?? Equipment working but 10 years old? REPLACE everything is their motto and get the maintenance fees rolling in on contract too. Upselling, jingles, logos and stickers….being treated like a stream of income is what this company now provides— but we’re still customers because where we’re from they are the only option. Handy Bros used to be special and trusted, now they’re money grubbing. Too bad. Someone else needs to open HVAC service in Blenheim. We’d sign up today.

$1300 quote for duct cleaning 1000 square feet and maybe 10 vents? Over $4000 repair estimate on a part that is between $200 and $400? $9000 for a York furnace WHAT?? Equipment working but 10 years old? REPLACE everything is their motto and get the maintenance fees rolling in on contract too. Upselling, jingles, logos and stickers….being treated like a stream of income is what this company now provides— but we’re still customers because where we’re from they are the only option. Handy Bros used to be special and trusted, now they’re money grubbing. Too bad. Someone else needs to open HVAC service in Blenheim. We’d sign up today.

The first problem was the new hot water tank a couple of years back, which according to the salesman was going to fit in the existing cupboard. when it came to it, it didn't.
And then the new furnace, works great, has been in 6 months, I thought I should change the filter. I had a terrible time getting it out, and I could not get a new one in. Now I know why they put a flimsy, floppy filter in. The slides for the filter don't line up with the opening. (I think, because I am 80, and have trouble getting down on the floor).
They phone me and tell me they will come and have a look, no charge if it was something they did, but they will charge me if it is my fault. They know I am 80, they know it cannot possibly be me. I lost my cool I am afraid. I told them what they could do with their company.

Just had Handy Bros. install a new air-conditioning unit. The installers/technicians were wonderful. They called to tell me when they were arriving, were professional, polite, knowledgeable, and patient while explaining how to use the new thermostat. They cleaned everything up before leaving and also made sure I did not have any more questions. Again, Handy Bros has provided excellent customer service. My parents had an issue with condensation from the indraw pipe on the furnace and Candace came out and fixed it all up. She was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She kept a very neat work space and left everything neat and tidy. Highly recommend Handy Bros and their crew 🙂

Have always used Handy Bros and they have never failed to impress. Cale was recently to my parents house to do a furnace and air conditioner cleaning/ inspection. He was VERY patient with my mother, who can ask many questions, and VERY professional and knowledgeable. He had a trainee with him, Parker, who was also very friendly. Cale got the job done, educating all the way. He was very respectful in keeping their work area clean and the path in and out of the furnace room clean, leaving no debris behind. You have a VERY good worker in Cale and he is definitely an asset to the Handy Bros team. Thanks again another job well done!

My parents air conditioner broke down. We called Handy Brothers at 5pm on Wednesday and spoke with Victoria, who was very kind. We explained our situation, that my dad had COPD and lung cancer and we really needed the air conditioning for his breathing (it was very hot and humid out and expected to be so for the next few days). She had Jake call us, who came out to the house within 30 minutes and explained everything and measured things up and answered all our questions. He was very friendly and professional. He had said we could expect installation of the new air conditioner by Friday or Saturday and he would notify Dan and TY for the installation. Later that evening ,we get a call from Ty ,and they are going to install the new air conditioner tomorrow morning at 830 AM and be done by noon...and low and behold...it was done by noon the next day!! We cannot thank you enough for all the kindness and pulling out all the stops for my father so he could breath easy...thank you!! thank you!! You are an amazing team!!

Our AC stopped working on June 23rd, one of the hottest days yet. we called the Handy Bros that day and they were here the next day. they were awesome from making the appointment to explaining everything to us, they were very friendly and got our AC working. Cale from Handy Bros came earlier then the expected time with two ice coffees, what a nice treat. He repaired the AC unit in no time, was very courteous and easy to talk to. He explained and showed us what he had done. We certainly would get him back if needed.

I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the service I received today. I called this morning, around 11 am and spoke with Caroline about my heat pump not working. She understood how, on a hot day this should be a priority and scheduled a service call after 3pm (as per my request).

The Handy bros team was terrific to work with.....from sales to install, and repair of a hiccup. They were very patient with my questions, made sure I was satisfied with the answers before they left. They were very professional. As this is a new install (less than a month ago), I haven't had enough time to comment on the heat pump role in AC. I did get a tankless water heater (source of hiccup!), and I love it. Great when the family is all home....no more morning rushes to the shower....lots of hot water for all!

I searched Google for “dryer vent and duct installation.” This was the first company on the list with a rating of 4.9 stars, also Google guaranteed. Therefore, I decided to give them a call, only for the lady to tell me they do not do those types of installations and they only deal with Hvac systems. Maybe because the size my job is too small and is not worth the hassle. Furthermore, even if it is something they do not deal with, a simple referral or recommendation would have suffice, not, “sorry we only deal with Havac.”

Surprisingly they quoted lower than a local contractor with who whom I still needed to provide materials. I decided to go ahead with them. I was not disappointed! Sam showed up on time and went above and beyond to ensure my job was done satisfactorily. The only reason I am not giving them the full 5 stars is because of the initial call I had. Notwithstanding that, I would safely recommend the services of Handy Bros!!!

Bryce the technician worked non-stop with A/C maintenance and we had our ducts cleaned and the furnace blower housing cleaned. We had many years of dust bunnies living rent-free in our home. After 1 cat and 5 dogs over 30 years... lots of dust, and furballs built up.

My issue is during the sales part it was mentioned that Enbridge was going to be offering "additional" rebates after Jan 28/25. As it turns out, as stated below (paragraph 3.5⬇️)you're not eligible if you received other incentives (Gov of Ontario program). You need to make your sales staff aware of this. Carolyn wasn't aware of this when my spouse initially reached out about this possible rebate. He was told she'd look into it and get our sales person to follow through. After 2 weeks with no response ,we called back and whoever answered the phone had our sales person call back. Eric told my husband that "every person they sent in the paperwork for was rejected". I feel like this possible additional rebate was dangled to sweeten the deal and now question if we're going to receive the 2 rebates highlighted on the paperwork. The 5Rebate2024 for $175 USD and the 3Rebate2024 for $275 USD. Handybros has got to be the best home care company we have ever been fortunate enough to know and use. All around quality and a great team to deal with. I totally endorse them for anyone who is looking for an excellent HVAC company.
Technician did a good job diagnosing unit. hard working, did not rush, helped us understand the issue at hand.
They will give you info that is incorrect (Gave me the wrong filter size, when I was already using the correct size. Lost $100 buying useless filters. Maybe that's my fault in placing confidence in them giving good info). And heat pump was waaaay too loud and original installation had faulty wiring that took 6 visits to fix. Had to pay out of pocket for a visit to have the noise issue finally resolved. Handy Bros is great if everything works well, but they have significant trouble diagnosing issues well and providing correct information about your system. I was a gold+ or whatever the highest tier maintenance member is as well.

My parents air conditioner broke down. We called Handy Brothers at 5pm on Wednesday and spoke with Victoria, who was very kind. We explained our situation, that my dad had COPD and lung cancer and we really needed the air conditioning for his breathing (it was very hot and humid out and expected to be so for the next few days). She had Jake call us, who came out to the house within 30 minutes and explained everything and measured things up and answered all our questions. He was very friendly and professional. He had said we could expect installation of the new air conditioner by Friday or Saturday and he would notify Dan and TY for the installation. Later that evening ,we get a call from Ty ,and they are going to install the new air conditioner tomorrow morning at 830 AM and be done by noon...and low and behold...it was done by noon the next day!! We cannot thank you enough for all the kindness and pulling out all the stops for my father so he could breath easy...thank you!! thank you!! You are an amazing team!!
Have always used Handy Bros and they have never failed to impress. Cale was recently to my parents house to do a furnace and air conditioner cleaning/ inspection. He was VERY patient with my mother, who can ask many questions, and VERY professional and knowledgeable. He had a trainee with him, Parker, who was also very friendly. Cale got the job done, educating all the way. He was very respectful in keeping their work area clean and the path in and out of the furnace room clean, leaving no debris behind. We reached out to Handy Bros the same day another company was to come and install a new Furnace and A/C. The other company attempted to fool my elderly father into a financing contract that was originally for 10 year term which was stated on the paperwork and agreed. Unfortunately we found out on install day from the financing company that the term would be 20 years amortization period not 10 years. That was a huge red flag. Always do your research before signing any contract.

Martin did a wonderful job with explaining which systems Handy Bros carries and had given recommendations. Great work Martin! We recommend Martin to be your comfort advisor. My elderly father was very nervous about getting into another contract with another hvac company because of what happened prior.
I then reachout to the ceo of Handy Bros and explained to him what exactly happened and he was shocked and was apologetic towards what happened with the other company and he advised that there are many companies out there that are not interested in helping customers and are just wanting your wallet and to screw over the customer. He did a wonderful job in explaining that Handy Bros is a wonderful and trustworthy company and have been in business since 1959 and they are 100% honest and care for their customers from day one. He also stated that Handy Bros Home Comfort does things differently than any other company out there, there are the best of the best. I would definitely agree with that
After a few days of convincing my elderly father to go ahead with Handy Bros, he finally agreed to have Handy Bros come in and install a new Furnace, Heat Pump and Tankless Water Heater. Mitch White did a wonderful job in helping me to convince my father in trusting Handy Bros. Thank you truly to Mitch White, you're a great man! Finally some good hearted humans do exist.

Unfortunately the next day there was a leak on the tankless water heater. I would like to point out that it was not human error. The installation was done correctly. We called Handy Bros that day and they came within 30 minutes to address the leak and find out what the issue was. Service technician Nick did a wonderful job in addressing the water leak and examined why it was leaking. Nick worked quickly to fix the leak. The leak was due to a faulty brass fitting on the unit. That part was replaced. Thank you Nick!

I’m so impressed with the level of customer service Handy Bros provides before, during and after my service call. My service tech Kris was amazing!! He was knowledgeable, personable and provided me with the options on how to proceed with the repair. There has to be a level of trust and you have to be comfortable that the information you are provided will solve your problem without any unnecessary repairs. I can tell you Kris is that service tech . I felt valued as a customer and believe me Handy Bros not only talk the talk they walk it as well!!Did I mention they are a great corporate citizen?? We’ll add that to the resume as well!!

Handy Brothers takes the time to take care of our equipment. Their technicians are always very courteous and thorough. Our only regret was not getting a better understanding of the functionality of the ERV before the install. While at least one tech took the time to explain and simplify how the unit works, we are still left wondering if the expense was worth it, as it does not address all of the needs that we raised at the onset. Overall the service that we are provided with is satisfactory.

I just called to see how much a Service Call costs to fix my A/C and it was more about sales! The sale of me purchasing a monthly maintenance package. I was told I’d get a discount of 65.00 off the 129.00 (plus tax) Service call. My call wasn’t to purchase anything!
We had a faulty air conditioner unit acting up and used a different company to diagnose the problem. They replaced the capacitator and it turned out that was not the problem. It was actually a refrigerant leak. Turned to Handy Bros to install a new unit as the repair costs for the old were way too high to justify going that route. Handy Bros sent a rep (Sam) to speak to us. He asked lots of questions to understand our needs then explained the different options (one stage, two stage and variable) with different costs involved. Two days later Dan and Hunter showed up to do the install. Dan did a quick assessment of our furnace and hookups to our old unit to get an understanding of what he was going to be working with. He was confident that he would get the job done in the 3 to 4 hour period I was given and he was successful in doing so. They took the old unit away so that was something I did not have to worry about after. He also answered some of my questions that I had about the new unit and our water heater that will need a replacement in a year or two. I gave 4 stars as there is not an option to give 4.5. I am reluctant to give 5 unless they absolutely blow you away or do something completely unexpected. Overall we are very happy with the service and product as it has been working great for 9 days with these very hot temperatures and they will be who we call when that water heater needs replacement. I tried to post a couple pictures of the new unit but I think the pic size might have been too large or something. Too bad as it looks great.
My air conditioner came to a halt yesterday afternoon but the fan was still blowing air in the house. Because it was a hot day, it felt like 39 C with the humidex so I just thought that my A/C couldn't keep up and keep the house cool. It was when I went outside to look at the A/C that I noticed that the fan was not turning. Big problem! It was now evening so I googled a local HVAC company to find that they were closed. The next option that came up was Handy Bros. Home Comfort, open 24/7. I called and spoke to a lovely woman, Dawn. She organized for Kris to come to my home and he was here within 45 minutes to thoroughly diagnose the problem. Kris was very friendly and professional and even wore feet protectors while in my house which was so appreciated. Kris explained everything a long the way as he was fixing my air conditioner and gave me some valuable insight. Thank you very much for your care and great customer service. I am as cool as a cucumber now!
This is an updated review based on my most recent experience. My system was installed by Handy bros less than a year ago, a full furnace and air conditioner replacement. A week ago I went down to find a puddle of water surrounding the furnace as well as water inside the furnace base and fan shroud. Naturally I shut off the unit and called immediately. They showed up late the next morning and looked everything over deemed the system to be installed and operating properly but didn’t know what the cause of the water puddle was. The conclusion eventually was to blame a “power surge” damaging the motor(that was still working). This speculated cause was then said to not be cover by warranty. I than was told I could buy two very expensive surge surge protectors or pay full price for the motor valued at over $2000. I bought the surge protectors feeling pressured into doing something or risk being left high and dry by handybros. My initial impression of handybros at system instal was five star. I did not have a warm and fuzzy feeling after this service call. Let’s hope they can earn my trust back in time.
if I could give them a negative number I would. They came here multiple times and charged me everytime. I am a 72 year old woman on a pension and they are trying to run the warranty out so they dont have to fix anything. There are multiple leaks that happened from these ac units and still havent been fixed yet. It has been an on going issue since June. I just turned it on in May!
This company is hands down the best we have ever dealt with! They came same day their technicians Adam and partner went out of their way even called ahead and offered coffee on their way, they were so polite and professional explained everything and had the problem fixed within an hour and we are already cooling off! Thank you for having such an amazing company that thinks of everything! And for ha ing such amazing young men who work for you!
We purchased a new furnace and AC unit from Handy Bros 6 years ago. Since then we also did the twice yearly maintenance check. The technician that come out are highly trained and courteous and always do a completed check of all systems to make sure they are running at peak efficiency. Last year we needed a new hot water tank. Call Handy Bros and had a new one installed that very same day. Jason has been to our home numerous times over the years and I can tell that he is very good at what he does. Looking forward to many more years of there great service

Today’s service call was routine AC tuneup and water heater check up. We also were advised to do some in depth cleaning on our furnace blower motor etc.
The techs were on time, polite and professional. Everything they did was explained and backed up with photos.

We have been using Handy Bros Home Comfort as our furnace and air conditioner service provider for a couple of years now. They are responsive, professional, thorough and friendly. Adam has always been our technician and he is quite the expert in this field fixing, on two occasions, complex detailed problems we experienced after the last service provider we had. Our furnace has never worked so well. We just signed on for their regular maintenance plan which was very affordable and gives us peace of mind working with such a great company.
When our air conditioner quit, Handy Bros came through. They sent George Knelsen. George was pleasant, down to earth, and knew the job like the back of his hand. He set us up right, even though it was late and the hot working conditions were less than ideal. Without George, I'm not sure if we could have slept at home given the heat wave we were going through.
We have been with Handy Bros since we came to Chatham and they have always been top flight. Recently, we chose to install their best future proof package. Obviously such an Investment comes with hesitation but the people at handy bros have been amazing. Specifically Mitch, Al and Ryan were all stellar. The Instal team experienced issues with the installation (due to the age of the home) but they stayed on top of it and didn't leave till the job was done. Also kept the house nice and clean while working/ after working.
I look forward to continuing my relationship with Handy Bros and hoping this system runs as efficiently as advertised and as problem proof as advertised.

The service technician (David?) was very professional and informative. What I liked the most is I was able to speak with the technician and know that he was actually listening and giving his best advice. Then letting me make the final decisions. This gives a customer great sense of satisfaction.
This company buys their positive reviews. Don’t be fooled. They are terrible rip off artists and just come and try to bully you into spending thousands of extra dollars.

Been with them since 2020 In regard to service. Totally 100% positive experience every time without exception. Would recommend to anyone wanting great service. Of note the service package I have had all along has been $120 plus tax It is renewing this time for close to $400. But in full fairness it now contains more items included, water tank service and dehumidifier. And there are other discounts as well with this new service package.

Called to get a barbecue gas line installed. Sent pictures, they said they needed to send someone out, booked appointment for today. Sent a reminder yesterday. First thing this morning, canceled. Not a big enough job, maybe I could try in a couple of weeks. Why book an appointment then? I will definitely go with someone else.
About 10 years ago I had this company install a new furnace air-conditioner and water heater. For the most part they did a good job. Recently the programmable thermostat failed and I called to have a new one installed. The receptionist could not quote me a price to replace it so I ask if someone could. I was quoted $1000.00 by a very rude "manager" who yelled the quote at the receptionist. Guess where I got the replacement.
My wife and I had a tankless water heater installed because our old one had given up the ghost. My wife called on a Saturday and the salesman Chris was super, coming out early on Sunday morning The installers were here first thing Tuesday morning ,very cordial and efficient . They did an amazing job in much less time than I had expected and did a wonderful job cleaning up after themselves as well (kudos to Aaron and David) and Thx very much to Handy Bros

HandyBros has come to our rescue more than once! Most recently a call to them provided over-the-phone help in trouble shooting a furnace issue, and they were available to follow up with a maintenance appointment within 24 hours. We have a HandyBros water heater and heat pump and have recommended them for top tier reliable service and repairs.

My heat pump broke 13 months after it was installed and I’ve been waiting a month for them to get a part in to fix it after being told it would take maybe a week. Definitely regret using them and would not recommend them at all
Edit: I was called by customer service after my review was posted and told that I should have communicated my frustration with them better. Blame has been passed to everyone but the company and I still don't have an ETA for a fix. I continue to regret doing business with HB.

I just had a tankless hot water system and a heat pump installed today. My two techs were courteous and very accommodating to me and my two big dogs. They were tidy and cleaned up their mess once completed. They were able to access all the information I required to pair the app with my new Ecobee thermostat. Very pleased with the overall results!

The crew arrived on time and got to work. Very friendly, kept me informed as they went. They showed me what was needed and asked for my input. Left the house neat and tidy no mess. Even cleaned up the stray Nerf ammo that found its way under the old furnace. 100% would recommend them to all.

Wow. We had an urgent need for service on our furnace that stopped working during the very cold weather of the last week. Chris arrived the very next day and got to work. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I was impressed and I certainly will be calling Handy Bros again.

Maybe being generous with a 2. Because my ac and furnace were getting old, I contracted with Handy Bros for a heat pump and new furnace. After removing the old equipment, the heat pump was installed where the ac unit had been, between the gate to the backyard and the door from the house in the back. I did nor realize at the time, but the heat pump drips a substantial amount of water which freezes in the winter making a very dangerous icy area. When I phoned to ask for assistance with this, I was told I could remedy this by only using the heat pump in the summer and rely on the furnace in the winter…Seriously? This installation was done taking into account the easiest method, not the most professional and safest. No one even suggested moving it with an increase in price or pointed out the obvious problems with this location. Very disappointing…we have, so far, tried a bucket underneath but the bucket has now cracked and the water has frozen in it.

Adam replaced our gas fireplace remote and assessed our gas furnace. He was exceptionally efficient and knowledgeable and we felt extremely 😌 satisfied with his work and professionalism. We signed up as a member for future maintenance on all of our appliances-fireplace, furnace and water heater- because we wanted to have peace of mind that we would not have any nasty surprises.
Professional, timely and I received everything as promised. I first put an inquiry in through the internet I was contact within an hour. Time of quote to install was <48 hours during a cold spell. Very Impressed with Kayla and her knowledge of the available systems and government rebates. The use of technology by Handy Bros was also impressive. I am still waiting for a competitive quote from 2 companies. I received the quote on the spot and I was very comfortable with the cost. Kayla knows her stuff.
The install team (sorry) I forgot their names, showed up on time, put a large matt out to protect my floors. They cleaned up everything and explained how the system worked and how to register my new thermostat. Well done! 10/10

We were fortunate to receive a same day appointment. The technician arrived on time and completed an inspection of furnace. He was thorough in reviewing data on thermostat, checking intakes and crawl space to determine loss of heat. He conferred with his supervisor in the problem solving process. The technician explained in detail his assessment and next steps to resolve the issue. I was very pleased with his professionalism.
Coldest day of the year and the furnace was not working. We had the heat pump and it got us through. The next day Allan was on the phone with me and spent 1/2 hr troubleshooting with thermostat. He walked us through and explained every setting in the Ecobee. We could not resolve the issue so he sent Adam here and he quickly found the issue that was internal to the furnace. He explained everything. We now have a great system and we know a lot more about how it works.1
I first learned about Handy Bros. from a TV commercial. I had a good feeling, and decided to call to get my air exchanger looked at.
Since making that first call, I have had an even more positive reaction to Handy Bros. I am so happy I made this move.

I just had my furnace, water heater, ERV, air conditioner and humidifier replaced. What an amazing job was done. Kyle, Brady, Aaron and Evan did an amazing job. Very professional. I am soooo happy.
Also, I can't forget Shannon, Victoria, and Ann for all their help as well. There was a fourth lady who I talked to on the phone, but for the life of me, I cannot remember her name. I am sorry for that. Please forgive me.

So far so good! Our furnace started acting up and we called Handy Bros as they had the best reviews! They came at 4pm on a Friday and we are set to have a full install of a furnace, AC, and Hot Water tank tomorrow! Looking forward to new and efficient appliances and hoping all goes smooth!
A/C install was quick and efficient. I signed up for their maintenance package and the techs that come twice a year to tune up my furnace and a/c unit are always friendly and knowledgeable. They explain everything and make sure I understand what they found during the maintenance check-ups.
Very pleased with the professionalism and service received by our technician, Emily, from Handy Bros. She was very knowledgeable and informative about the status of our heating and fireplace system, and answered all questions we had. Explanations and pictures were taken and shown to us of the before and after work done in our home. We have always been pleased with the work and services Handy Bros. has provided to us.

From the start to finish the Handy Bros team was helpful and informative. Salesman Chris was great and made sure we had everything we needed. The front desk staff were always there to pick up the phone and cheerfully assist with answering questions. The installation team were clean and professional with a lot of patience to take time and walk us through any concerns or questions. Since then I’ve recommended Handy Bros to several people and will continue too.
We were very pleased with the courteous service with Carolyne over the phone while booking our appointment! After hours I might add. Our furnace had quit working and we had your technician Kyle Lapointe here in less than 24 hrs. Very pleased with how informative Kyle was with us. He took the time to explain everything and showed us what was wrong visually. Great to see what was actually going to take place. I contacted Handy Bros Monday morning after having a cold night due to my furnace not working. They immediately sent someone out to inspect and fix the issue. My technician was Kyle Lapointe. Kyle was knowledgeable, professional, patient and extremely thorough. Kyle took the time to go through his finding and explain what all the readings meant. Furnace went down today (sunday morning). Adam and Kyle arrived promptly and resolved our issue within an hour. Excellent customer service; they offered insight on the next steps we need to take (with zero sales pressure), and set us up with Kayla to have more a more in depth conversation about upgrades. Adam provided us with information about our current furnace while Kyle pulled up our bill for the day. They worked very well together. Overall a fantastic experience.
Just had a new furnace and heat pump installed about a month ago. My wife already wrote a great and deserving review about your team.This is just to confirm the great service from Handy Bros.i thought there was a little wobble in the fan so I called to see if they would just take a look to make sure it was ok. Not only did they look at I they replaced the fan and motor just in case no questions asked. Great service and another friendly service technician Steve if I remember correctly can’t say enough I know customer service when I see it that’s customer service to a tee👍

Contacted Handy Bros for a quote on the price of a new furnace and AC to take advantage of the current rebates being offered. Outstanding professional service from Shannon (on the phones) Eric (home comfort consultant) and installers (Tony and Dan). Once my decision was made, I had a new furnace and heat pump within a week, including the pre-audit visit. Handy Bros do all the arrangements for you! Highly recommend you give them a call!

Chris was easy to deal with up front with the quote and was not pushy at all. Kyle and Aaron were fantastic installers that I couldn't be happier with. The install was in a 130 year old house and the guys were able to make suggestions and adjust the install to make improvements to make my system work better. These guys worked their butts off and I never saw them stop to take a break. I thought I was a picky customer but they far exceeded my expectations.

I was new to Essex County and first come across Handy Bros. when I visited the Windsor Home Show. Eric was the salesman at their booth. I told him I was interested in a system to heat my garage. He was very helpful friendly and explained the advantages of a Mitsubishi "Split" system which heats and cools. He provided me with some literature and his card. The plan sat on the back shelf for most of the summer while I was converting an exterior deck into an addition to my house. I reached out to Eric who visited my house and explained that it was possible to heat and cool both the garage and addition with one condenser and two separate heads. It was the perfect solution so I decided to go with Handy Bros and also got a Premium Experience Membership at the same time, well worth the relatively low cost.
Since the beginning I've found Handy Bros to be a professional and innovative operation. An interesting thing I've noticed is everyone employed by Handy Bros. is very happy to be a part of their team. As a customer I'm 100%

We had a 30 year old heating and cooling system. We kept limping it along to work. Until the control board needed to be replaced. My wife called Handy Bros, and within minutes had a reply by phone and email. We set up an appointment to meet with a sales representative. Joe came out, after hours. Sat down with me and explained the options. Very pleased with his help. Two days later my wife and I decided to purchase a system from Handy Bros. It was installed the next week, (To meet my schedule) with plenty of communication between Handy Bros office staff and ourselves. Brett and JR installed the system today. And, WOW. They did an amazing job. Very polite, courteous, and showed professionalism. I cannot say enough about this company! Bravo....service like this is unheard of any longer. It was great and very quick service. Kyle was very honest with what the issues were with my air conditioner and took the time out to explain to me how certain parts within the unit worked. He was a very nice young man and talked very highly of Handy Brothers and how enjoyed working for them. They should be proud to have him on their team.

We recently had Handy Bros install a heat pump for us after are old a/c unit stopped working. Chris went through are options and explained them to us as well as the rebates available. When I purchased my home in 2021, I knew the existing oil burning furnace was going to be expensive, I just didn’t realize how expensive! I knew I had to do something and I started looking into what kind of grants might be available. I found the Greener Homes grant and also the Oil to Heat Pump Affordability grant. I got quotes from a few companies. Eric, home comfort specialist, came to my home and came up with a plan to suit my heating and cooling needs. I knew that waiting on the approval for the grants was going to be a long process but Eric checked in on a regular, (but not aggressive) basis to see if I needed help in any way. Once approved for the grants, Eric came back to my house, we went over the plan and chose a system that would suit all my needs. I arranged my schedule and installation was scheduled! George, Spenser and Tyler arrived on time and were knowledgeable, efficient, polite and explained the process, asked me for my input on how I would like the indoor units placed and took care to respect my home. It was a 2 day process to install 5 indoor heads and 2 separate outdoor units. I won’t hesitate to recommend Handy Bros and their staff to everyone I know!

Very professional, was impressed by the quality and duration of of maintenance call. Madeleine took pictures of everything, cleaned all areas and assisted me to make an informed decision on repairs. You get a text with the name and picture of your technician prior to visit, they communicated multiple times before arriving to give us a accurate arrival time. We were so impressed that decided to have them come and quote us on a fireplace for our basement. Few days later we met with Eric who was very professional and knowledgeable, we look forward to having them install our new fireplace. Highly recommended!

My furnance have out on me over the holidays and I just got a new furnace and AC installed today by Handy Bros technicians, Wes and Ty. They were quick and professional, answered all my questions, and were the cheapest of the 3 places I got quotes from. Their office was consistently receptive even during the holidays.
We had a tech named Madeleine and she was very good!. She arrived slightly early. EXCELLENT and worked quickly and quietly with complete professionalism. After her service she informed us of any concerns and possible solutions. None were found, but her attitude was far above average. What an extremely pleasant professional tech. Thank you again.

Do to the weather and other issues with other customers our technician was late but they had informed me earlier and I was able to move my schedule around to accommodate this. When the technician called to inform me that she was going to be here at a certain hour she was on time and very good at diagnosing the issues that we were having with our unit. It was a little confusing on the quoting of replacing parts but she did have a serious discussion with her peers to clarify on our behalf. I think the technician will question her peers until she fully understands there quoting procedures for the next time. Other than that she was very knowledgeable and very thorough on her job. They still have to order parts but they have the unit working and no more issues. WELL DONE!

I had a propane conversion fireplace installed by Handy Bros. There were issues that needed done. Just air flow adjustments but it did take 3 tries to get it set correctly. Each time we were treated in a courteous manner. All said they did a great job on installation and service calls until we and they were satisfied it was working as it should. The whole team was great. It was our first time using this company and will continue too. After I built the custom mantle and surround in a pearl finish the whole thing looks awesome.
