Two gentlemen, Doug & Ernesto, removed out old home a/c and replaced it with a heat pump. They were here for many hours performing all the work required. Due to wiring problems, not their problem, Doug resolved this issue and tested system. He set up the new Ecobee digital thermostat. They cleaned up the work area by the furnace & removed the old a/c from our home. Excellent job! I would highly recommend this company & these two technicians for future jobs.

Mark and Scott came yesterday to install my tankless heater and water filtration system. They stayed past 7pm to get the job done. Their work was impeccable. Everything was clean and very professional. The finish was well organized and very aesthetic. They tested everything to make sure it works and explained anything that I needed to know for future maintenance.

We had Jaden out for a maintenance on our heat pump and furnace today and he was efficient, communicative and very mindful of our time constraints. We purchased our equipment a few years ago and continue to be satisfied customers of HB because of great techs like him!
Jaden was great. I called HB at 11am and my AC was back in action by 5:30 pm. Quick and knowledgeable assessment of problem and even quicker part swap. Highly recommended.

Andrew explained all processes in detail and answered all my questions. A thorough check of my furnace and AC indicated there were some issues with my 13 year old system. Options were explained. Most of all, what made this a very positive experience was Andrew's personality. I am so glad he is the technician that came out!!

I highly recommend Handy Bros for furnace, A/C, tankless water heater etc. A technician -Austin S - was just here doing a maintenance inspection of my equipment and, as always, I was super impressed with the friendly, personable service I received. He inspected and cleaned all equipment and, when I mentioned noticing a tiny bit of condensation on a pipe, he was right on it ensuring there were no harmful emissions then replacing the joint. Oh, and he even brought me a coffee! 😀

Chris S. was here today to complete some preventative maintenance on our newer furnace and AC. We couldn't be more satisfied with the service, knowledge and expertise that Chris provided to us. He was so helpful and kind. Honestly, the whole HB staff is extraordinary and that's why when something goes wrong our first call is to Handy Bros. When our friends call us to ask us who we had to replace our old furnace and AC, we tell them our amazing experience. When service is this good, you know who you can trust. Thanks to Chris for a job well done and thanks to Ashley who was so pleasant to speak to over the phone to book the service appointment.

We recently has Jaden Benson come out to do our yearly inspection on our heat pump! Not only was he very knowledgeable about the heat pump….he also took the time to answer my husband’s questions about a tankless water heater. He insisted on bringing my husband a beverage and left us with some coupons and promotions. Very happy with our experience with Jaden and wish him continued success with Handy Bros. AC not working on 2 year old service. Tech determined leak in coil so new one ordered and recharged with dye so cooling restored until permanent repair all 100% under warranty. Great response & service

This is my third time using this company and Austin Sutton absolutely exceeded my expectations today! Due to a family illness, our cooling system hadn't been serviced in several years and was filthy, but Austin did an outstanding job—by the end, it looked brand new - inside and out - and is functioning better than ever. This company operates with total integrity, providing fabulous, personable service at a great price with zero disappointments. I trust them completely, and with this type of continued care, I know our equipment will last for years to come; This 5-star Google review is incredibly well deserved!
We just had a new A/C & furnace/heat pump installed today by Jessie, Jarrod & Ryan. They were awesome! Professional, clean, very knowledgeable and they took the time to go over everything with us and answered all our questions. They didn’t rush the install, actually they kept us informed throughout the whole process. They took videos to show progress and always took extra care on making sure our home remained as they first arrived. 10 out of ten. Thanks as well to Jamie for finally being a sales person that told us the truth and look after our well being.

We knew from the start that this installation would be somewhat challenging. The installation team of Mark and Scott along with off site support staff came up with a suitable solution to minimize any damage to walls etc….They explained the plan and we agreed to go ahead. The installation looks clean and professional. This is our second heat pump installation by HB since last summer. We are very satisfied with both units and would highly recommend them. Nice job HB team.

Handy Bros did a fantastic job from their knowledgeable sales team that came into our home, found out what we were looking for, showed us what our options were and answered all our questions. Their install team were very professional, personable, very knowledgeable about the products that they were installing. We purchased a furnace and A/C unit, as well as tankless water heater,and a new thermostat. The guys removed all my old equipment and took it with them for proper disposal. I would definitely give these guys a great recommendation. ( I don't know what these guys get paid,but I think they should get a bonus). I couldn't be happier with their service.
Evan and his team were very professional and polite. It was a 30+C degree day and they handled it in stride. They encountered challenges with my house layout and overcame them with skill and professionalism. Any questions they answered quickly and thoroughly without being technical. I am really impressed with the install and very happy with the final result. I sent pictures to my son who is a HVAC tech out west and he was very impressed with the work. He couldn’t see any issues and thinks they did a “perfect” job. I highly recommend Handy Bros.
Overall experience with Handy Bros. was extremely professional. From the first meeting with Marshall, Home Comfort Advisor to meeting Brendan our installation technician. Marshall explained all options of the available products. He was very thorough with his explanations. He took the time to understand our house and family needs. Brendan was very professional on installation. They ensured things where clean and tested. Brendan reviewed Eco Bee, Hepa Air filter, Furance and Heat Pump/AC functions. Highly recommend 👌

Poor instructions given to installer for the amount of work required to put unit were intended. Causing me ( home owner ) to lose 100% of the area that was to be dedicated to storage in the laundry room. Instead of being a space saving appliance it has taken up double of space. 😞

I recently had a stressful situation involving my heat pump (not caused by HandyBro as the ground underneath it was settling a lot after a foundation repair. The heat pump was leaning at a 45 degree angle and was essentially in a sink hole). Even though the issues was not caused by HandyBro, I’m extremely grateful for their professionalism in addressing my concerns. Heat pump is now stable, level and functional. Fantastic customer service, advisor and technicians.

First of all, Harding 4 strangers in your home with young kids around is not always ideal. But these 4 men went about their job. They were very respectful & professional. They did an amazing job. But what I really loved is that when my 3 year old grandson asked questions, they answered. When he shared a toddlers tale with them, they listened. When he offered one of the techs candy, the tech took it. Kindness goes a long way, and it’s what will make me choose Handy Bros hands down every time! Not to mention their quality products.

Brendan from HB's replaced our natural draft water heater with a new one and did a very professional job. The installation, from the new piping, to the new exhaust, is top tier. They had no issue relocating the water heater for us to open up more space in our basement, too. The tech was also very professional and personable. Very happy with the experience overall.
Our heater ended up breaking and needed to be replaced our house was freezing with a child they went out of their way to not only make sure we we’re top priority but also made sure to bring extra heaters to heat up the house a bit ! On January 26, extremely cold day we had one of their Technicians come and service our furnace which had stopped working the night before. It wouldn't ignite. They gave us a wrong diagnosis and condemned our 17 year old furnace plus made a report to Enbridge. Was informed that the heat exchanger was clogged and would cost $5,200 to replace about the same price as a new furnace. Wasn't advised they had shut off the gas and made that report with the first call. Later in the day they called to see what we would do about the furnace. I advised them that we would get a second opinion. Next day a qualified Tech came, turned the gas back on and the furnace ignited! So much for a condemned furnace. It needed a minor part to fix the issue. Enbridge notified of the wrong diagnosis. After I contacted the company by email with my assessment of the work and stated not satisfied with their diagnosis a woman called to express how sorry they weren't able to complete the work and do the repair. Three times she asked what part they replaced, well I did not divulge that as I stated that their Tech should have been able to figure that out. They wanted to sell us a new furnace, that's their game as it's the dead of winter and we were in a desperate situation. Happy we got a second opinon and our repair costs were minimal! They stated they would reimburse the service call fee. Beware of this company as it seems to be their game, offer new instead of repair.

After your email, our office attempted several times to contact you to understand what repairs had been completed. This was not to challenge your decision to seek another contractor, but to determine whether the hazardous condition identified had been properly resolved. We specifically asked which part was replaced because some components can allow a furnace to restart without correcting the underlying combustion issue. This is a serious safety concern.
Our actions were based on safety of the tenant and not sales. We would love to work with you and continue to be your contractor, however we are not able to bypass safeties or leave hazards.

He never mentioned anything about CO2 levels being high, nor any recordings on his paper report, nor did he ask if there was a CO2 unit in the basement. The Office called in the afternoon to see what we were going to do about the situation. Also, at no time did the Technician mention the furnace was condemned and the gas turned off nor was it written on the report if the situation has that dire. If you were concerned about the safety of the tenant he should have advised them of the CO2 concern, which was not nor written on the report. I still stand by our decision and our review given. Very nice people to work with. Did a great job. It's my second purchase from Handybros in about two months. I don't care much about the AI Assistant on the phone, as I found myself talking to it before realizing it isn't a person. Otherwise it was a great experience.
Boxing Day late afternoon, the Hydro went out because of the ice storm, I laid in the evening. I realised the Thermostat/furnace didn’t come back on when the power came back on. My usual provider did not return calls or text in a timely manner(3hr) in the morning so I called Handy Bros. I was desperate to get the heat back on. Mike was there in maybe an hour, brought me a coffee (very much needed ) found out what the problem was, and offered the solutions. This was a bit of a crisis, and I was very glad to get the heat back on. I will be using this company in the future.. Hopefully, just for maintenance and not another crisis!

Last minute emergency install right before Christmas. Sales guy was there within half an hour of calling (on a Saturday night). Went through all of my options thoroughly and had a crew set to come right away. The day of service was seamless and the guys were great. New furnace and air-conditioning within a day or two. My entire experience with Handy Bros from start to finish was professional and exceeded my expectations. From the diagnostic analysis by technician Jaden Benson on my 14 year old (and neglected) tankless water heater, to Comfort Advisor Frank Hasiak who prepared a reasonable quote for replacement, to the three service guys who did a quick and superb installation - all of this within 3 days of my initial call - this is among the best service I have ever experienced. I now have a top of the line tankless water heater made in British Columbia, a 10+ 10 + 15 year transferable warranty on parts & labour, and will be subscribing to the Family Plan maintenance for my existing furnace, a/c, humidifier and new water heater.

Called handy bros out after they checked the problem they said the problem is mostlikly this part. 2200$ i called absolute comfort same part work and all 1300$ love to know where the extra charge of 900$ comes from. And keep this in mind I looked the part up my self and the most expensive one is 360$. So all in all this is price gouging no way a repair of a part that costs 360$ is 2000$ over

Furnace went out throughout the night, Handy Bros was able to get it back up and running on Saturday in good time as well as check the system for current efficiancy. Service tech was a great guy also. Definitely would recommend.

The experience from start to finish was great. My furnace was completely out of commission so I contacted a few companies to see what could be done. Kyle came by and spend quite a while checking everything over to ensure nothing was missed. He was also available at any time to answer questions or help with the process. On installation day the team arrived right at 7 (I was told 7-8, so very on time!) and completed the job quicker than expected. Fantastic service throughout!

I MUST SAY our recent York Furnace install (with a new thermostat) was a great decision!
I have a friend, Ray, who works in commercial HVAC in the Mississauga area who told me he could only recommend 3 furnace manufacturers and York was one of them. He told me to avoid Goodman, as he has had to fix a lot of them.
So, I was quite happy to see Handy Bros. offered a York furnace package with easy financing which included a 10 year warranty on furnace parts and labour, AND had a 25 year warranty on the heat exchanger! The very thing that went wrong on our 42 year-old furnace!
I sent pictures of the furnace work that Handy Bros did, to my HVAC friend in Mississauga and after looking at the various pictures, Ray told me “that’s a good install.” And Ray does not readily praise things. He liked how Handy Brothers even made a little sheet metal holder on the side of the furnace for our instruction guide, etc. Ray said he would not have done that…and noted that was a nice added touch.
We also had Handy Brothers do our ducts.
It’s a comprehensive clean this company does, including (you may find this hard to believe) before, and after pictures of every single duct! When, I mentioned to Jonathan (of Handy Bros) about one of the vents that I was concerned about, he immediately opened up his iPad and went right to the duct in question. Jonathan showed me what was actually going on, and that I had nothing to worry about. For the longest time, I thought that duct and the vent there, was a real problem, and I was glad to discover (through the before/after pictures) that it was of no concern.
I absolutely recommend Handy Bros if you need your furnace and air conditioning done. Or even looked at. I’m not getting paid in anyway for this recommendation, but I think good service should be noted, and proclaimed.
And remember, Handy Bros even has an iPhone app! Cheers!

Handy Bros, Chatham has been my go- to place since I purchase my old house 5 years ago. From gas main from the meter into the house, installation of tankless water heater, removal of old unused gas lines in the crawl space to the most recent replacement of the complete hvac system, they have been the ones I call. Their work is stellar. Everything is clearly explained beforehand and after the work is completed. They are very neat, aware of their surroundings and will leave everything as clean or better than when they arrived. Very professional, they will not stop till the work is done. The sales man came and explained how the equipment runs, took pictures and provided options. Techs were very knowledgeable and it appeared that we didn't have adequate gas supply for a tankless water heater. On day of install they had to figure out how to get a new gas line from the furnace to the water heater and luckily it was only resulted in a hole in the laundry room ceiling. I feel it could have been prevented if we had time to come up with a more plausible solution had someone noticed the problem once the salesperson submitted our project and before day of install.

We just had a new furnace, heat pump and on demand hot water system installed. The Handy team was here for 11 hours doing the installation. The furnace room was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. Courteous, highly qualified technicians made the install seem easy. Outstanding office and management staff all there, all the time, should you have any questions. As you can see, we are extremely happy with the whole experience. Thank you, Handy Bros.
Service appointment went great. Karim found the issue of no power to the boiler and made adjustments. He took the time to explain everything he did and offered preventative actions we could take in the future. He was able to reduce the cost of the service call by 50%. We also signed up for the family maint. plan and again was able to give us 2 free months. Thrilled with it all!

Called Handy Bros. Company, my furnace humidifier wouldn't stop draining water. They fit me in their busy schedule the next morning. The technician Matt was very friendly and professional. He explained step by step everything that he was going to do in great detail! He took pictures and emailed them to me so I could have them on file. He did a fantastic job. All the staff at Handy Bros. We're very friendly and went above and beyond. Definitely would recommend them. I'm very happy with their service!
