Though red seal certification or a gas license may be beneficial, they are not at all necessary. Through the Handy Bros. Academy, we have the ability to methodically train new teammates from the ground up – in fact, we prefer it. At Handy Bros., we hire mostly for character and work ethic – we can teach the rest!

When the CK Charity Classic reached out, it wasn’t for themselves—it was on behalf of The Mental Health Network of Chatham-Kent.
As a fundraising group, the CK Charity Classic supports local non-profits and life-changing initiatives across the region. This time, the ask was simple but essential: a working air conditioner.
The Mental Health Network had been quoted nearly $6,000—an overwhelming cost for a non-profit dedicated to supporting those facing mental health challenges. They reached out to us just hoping for a better price… maybe even a small discount.
But when our CEO Mitch heard their story, he had something else in mind.
