Right before the school year began, we had the privilege of teaming up with @freehelpck for their 8th Annual Operation Backpack Program. Handy Bros. Heroes donated 1,500 backpacks to help ensure kids across Chatham-Kent start the year fully prepared.
At their annual car show, we set up a booth where community members could join in too — with a small donation, you could add a backpack to the car FULL of backpacks headed to local students. 🚗🎒
Because we believe every child deserves to walk into school with confidence, ready to learn and succeed. 🙌

The Thamesville & Area Early Learning Centre had purchased chocolate bars for a fundraiser to support their programs, supplies, and activities for the kids. But when the support to sell them fell through, they were nearly stuck with $3,000 worth of unsold chocolate bars.
That’s when Handy Bros. Heroes stepped in.
First, we bought every last bar — then we reached out to our amazing community members and partners to see who else would step up and help support this incredible centre.
