We first met Ann during Christmas of 2024.
Her story came to us quietly—she was a local grandmother in desperate need of a vehicle, and her situation had become urgent. Through our Handy Bros. Heroes program, we were able to surprise her with a car, just in time for the holidays. It was a beautiful moment, one that reminded us why we do what we do.

A Second Call for Help
Months later, during the heat of summer, Ann called again.
Her air conditioner had stopped working completely. Our Comfort Advisor, Jess, was dispatched to help. After inspecting the system, Jess discovered that the entire AC unit needed to be replaced. Ann, unable to afford the cost, was preparing to tough it out through the heat—hoping her furnace would at least make it through the winter.
But we couldn’t let that happen.
Ann wasn’t just a customer. She was part of the Handy Bros. Heroes family. And family looks out for each other.
