Cheers to Community: How a Summer Beer Raised $2,250 for Local Heroes 🍻

Summerfest, hosted by Sons of Kent as part of the larger Brewfest celebrations across Chatham-Kent, was more than just good music, cold drinks, and sunny vibes—it was a night where community met purpose. And we were proud to be part of it.

Handy Bros. proudly sponsored the event, with Handy Bros. Heroes named as the official charitable recipient. Together, we turned celebration into impact—raising $2,250 to fuel our next community initiative right here in CK.

A Label That Tells a Story

To mark the occasion, our team created something special—a custom beer label featuring six of our favourite Handy Bros. Heroes events, each one capturing a different moment of compassion, teamwork, and local support.

The label even included a QR code linking directly to our Handy Bros. Heroes video playlist—so with every sip, guests could connect to the stories that inspired the cause.

Because at Handy Bros., we believe giving back should be creative, meaningful—and yes, even a little fun.

Good Beer. Great Cause.

Here’s what made it even more special:

All drink proceeds during Summerfest went directly back to Handy Bros. Heroes. That means every toast, every pint, and every cheers helped fund our ongoing mission to serve those in need across Chatham-Kent.
